GPRS/3G
You can use GPRS/3G to connect to the Internet or to send and receive MMS on
your phone. When you use GPRS/3G, you will be billed per KB (Kilobyte) when
sending or receiving information.
If GPRS/3G settings are not preset on your phone, obtain the Access point name
from your wireless service provider. Also, check with your wireless service provider
if a user name and password are required.
Note Check with your service provider how much it charges for its GPRS/3G service.
To set up a new GPRS/3G connection
1. On the Home screen, click Start > All
Programs > Settings > Connections >
GPRS > New.
2. In Description, enter a name for the
connection.
3. In Connects to, select The Internet.
4. Enter the name of the GPRS Access point of
your wireless service provider.
5. Enter the appropriate information in the
remaining elds, if required by your wireless
service provider.
6. Click Done.
Dial-up
When you use your phone to dial up to your ISP and connect to the Internet or to
your corporate network, you will be billed by the number of minutes that you use.
To set up a dial-up connection for browsing the Internet
1. On the Home screen, click Start > All Programs > Settings > Connections >
Dial-up > New.
