Setting Up Your Device

Phone services

Your device can directly link to the mobile phone network, and allow you

to access and change the settings of various phone services for your device.

Phone services may include Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Voicemail, and

more. Contact your service provider to find out about the availability of

phone services for your device.

To access and change settings of phone services

You can see how much memory is available on a storage card that is

inserted in your device.

1. On the Phone screen, tap Menu > Options > Service tab.

2. Select the service you want to use, then tap Get Settings.

3. Choose your desired options, then tap OK.

Networks

You can view available mobile phone networks, determine the order

in which your device accesses another network if the current one is

unavailable, and specify whether you want to change networks manually or

automatically.

To change phone network settings

On the Phone screen, tap Menu > Options > Network tab.

2. By default, your device displays the current network as oered

by your service provider. You can customize to set your preferred

network.

To set preferred networks

On the Phone screen, tap Menu > Options > Network tab. By default,

the Network selection eld is set to Automatic. However, you can set

it to Manual to choose your own network at any point of time.

2. Tap Set Networks.

3. Select the networks on the Phone: Preferred networks screen and

sort them according to your preference.

4. Tap OK.
