30 Getting Started
SIM card
Your T-Mobile SIM card contains your basic subscriber information such as your
phone number and identifies you to the T-Mobile network.
To install the SIM card
Remove the battery, if it is
installed.
Locate the SIM card slot and
unlock the SIM card lock by
pressing it towards the battery
compartment.
Insert the SIM card with its gold
contacts facing down and the
cut-off corner facing away from
the slot (check the SIM card
slot for the correct orientation
when inserting the SIM card).
Slide the SIM card completely
into the slot.
Press the SIM card lock closed
to lock the SIM card in place.
To remove the SIM card
Remove the battery if it is
installed.
Unlock the SIM card lock.
Slide the SIM card out to
remove it.
