Adding a location as a footprint
Before you start, make sure your phone's Internet connection and the location
service setting are turned on.
1. On the Start screen, tap .
2. Tap Locations.
In the Locations app, the dot on the center of the map indicates your current
location.
To make the app find your location again and display it on the map, tap
.
3. Tap to create a new footprint.
4. On the new footprints screen, tap the map image, and then use the camera to
take a photo of your location.
5. Use the detected location name and address, or edit them.
6. You can also:
§ Choose a category for your location.
§ Record a voice memo to store in the footprint.
§ Tap more details to add more info, such as a phone number, website
address, and more.
7. Tap to save the footprint.
Editing a footprint
1. In the Locations app, slide left or right to see your footprints.
2. Browse through recent footprints, or choose from the footprints categories.
3. Tap a footprint you want to edit.
