Viewing a Web page Using Finger Gestures
Slide your finger upward to scroll down the Web page, or slide your finger downward to scroll up the
Web page.
To pan downward, tap and hold on the screen, and then drag your finger upward. To pan upward, tap and
hold on the screen, and then drag your finger downward.
To pan towards the right, tap and hold on the screen, and then drag your finger to the left. To pan towards
the left, tap and hold on the screen, and then drag your finger to the right.
To pan freely around a Web page, tap and hold on the screen, and then drag your finger in the
desired direction.
Copying Text from a Web Page
1.
Tap Menu > Copy/Paste > Make Selection.
2. Drag your finger across the screen to highlight desired words or lines of text.
3. After selecting the desired text, tap Copy.
4. Create a message or open a document and then paste the text.
Saving an Image from a Web Page
1.
Tap and hold the image to open a shortcut menu and then tap Save Image As.
2. In the Name field, enter an image file name or use the existing file name.
3. Choose whether to save the image file to the main memory or storage card first before you select a folder
where to save the image file.
4. Choose whether to save the image as a JPEG or BMP file.
5. Tap Save.
The Browser Menu
Tap Menu to choose from a list of options that will let you change the text size of a Web page, save favorites,
and more.
Options available in the browser menu include:
Favorites. Allows you to access and manage your favorites.
Add to Favorites. Marks the current website as your favorite.
Go to Web Address. Highlights the address bar and allows you to enter a Web address.
Zoom Out. See “Zooming In or Out of a Web Page” on page 147 for details.
Home Page. Sets the current Web page as the default home page.
History. Displays a list of websites that you previously accessed and allows you to quickly return to a
visited website.
Forward. Moves forward to a previously viewed Web page.
Refresh. Reloads the current Web page.
View. Allows you to change how a Web page is displayed. You can choose from the following options:
Text Size. Allows you to choose the font size for the text.
Full Screen. Displays the current Web page in full-screen view. To change back to the normal view, tap
and hold on the Web page to open a shortcut menu, and then tap Full Screen.
Mobile. Fits the content within the screen width of your device so that you can see most of it without
having to scroll horizontally.
Desktop. Keeps the same layout and size as on a desktop computer, which will require both horizontal
and vertical scrolling.
